Pensions Committee Code of Conduct

Pensions Committee members are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct applicable to the council for which they represent. It is an individual's responsibility to comply with the provisions of the Codes and ensure all obligations are met. The Trade Union Observer members are recommended to abide by the Code of Conduct which the Fund operate for members of the Local Pensions Board, available here Code of Conduct.

A Code of Conduct is intended to promote high standards of behaviour among those appointed to governing bodies and is often underpinned by the seven principles of public life; selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.
