Hints, Tips & FAQs

As part of ongoing two-way engagement between the Fund and our employers we have created an evolving pdf icon FAQ document [717kb].

This will be reviewed on a regular basis, and updated with helpful information developed from the feedback that you continue to provide.

Based on employer feedback to date we have put together the following top tips to help you with the process:

  • Are you registered?
    • in order to upload a monthly submission file you need to be a registered web portal user. To register you will need to complete the Employer Web Portal User Declaration Form, which is available via request to our Employer Relationship Team
  • Forgotten your password?
    • an automated password reset facility is available for registered users on the Employer Web Portal login page
  • Support tools - a variety of tools are available for employer support
    • a File Layout and Sample File are both available under Producing the File (remember to delete the example entries on the sample file before submitting if you download this for use)
    • a navigation video and Employer Guide are both available under How to Upload Your Monthly Data Submissions File
    • the latest version of the File Checker has been emailed to all employers (and will be available on the website shortly). If you require a copy this can be requested from our Employer Relationship Team
  • Completing the process
    • It is important to complete the process fully. You will know if you have done this successfully as you will be able to see the Web Remittance you have produced on your employer record.
  • Numerical data
    • Please ensure that when inputting numerical data into the monthly submission spreadsheet, all data is double-checked before submitting the file. If multiple cells in the same column need to be populated with the same numerical data please ensure that you copy and paste, and do not drag down from the originating cell. Dragging down numerical data in any column will cause the value to increase with each new cell that is populated (this also applies to dates).
