The West Midlands Pension Fund offers a Pensioner Engagement Forum which meets with our pensioner members annually to evaluate the services we offer to you, to try and help enhance the experience our members receive when transitioning from their working life into retirement, which may seem a daunting prospect.

In previous years we have reviewed the different methods of communication we have with our pensioner members and provided feedback through our newsletters on new initiatives from our forum and improvements that we have made.

The Forum has helped shape the way in which we communicate with members, it also plays a key role in initiatives such as our Pre-Retirement Workshops, this is now one of our key engagement events which focusses on members who are aged 55 or over who may be thinking about retirement.

We will be hosting our next forum on Wednesday 9th October 2024 at 10:30am at our new offices at the I9 building in Wolverhampton. Our offices are nearby to the bus and train station. A map to our offices can be found here.

We would really welcome you to be involved in the forum to enable us to gather your thoughts and ideas on a variety of subjects about retirement which we will be discussing on the day. The forum will start from 10.30am (tea and coffee will be provided from 10am) and will close at midday, a buffet lunch will be provided.
