We know that members can find pensions a little confusing; but our aim is that once they have met one of our representatives, they will have a much greater understanding of their pension benefits.
We offer a range of different ways to engage and support our members. These include presentations such as Introduction to the LGPS, LGPS & You, Pre-Retirement and At Risk.
A Fund officer will attend your organisation and provide an event to support your staff. This could be one of the existing services or a specific bespoke presentation to deliver the facts regarding how any changes to their employment terms may impact on their LGPS benefits. We find that members appreciate the message being delivered by a Fund representative.
We offer follow up face-to-face sessions, where necessary, which allows members to discuss their financial affairs in more detail.
Please note that Fund representatives can only give information, therefore, if members require financial advice they should seek the services of an independent financial advisor.
We believe it is important to offer all of our members an opportunity to attend a Fund event and to discuss their pension benefits, we therefore provide an out of office hours service. The Fund will do its best to accommodate any special requirements you may have in respect of time and location.

Presentations
We offer a variety of presentations which can be delivered to small or large groups. We work with you, to ensure the type of presentation you request will meet both members and your requirements. Details of each presentation can be found on the links on the left-hand menu.
We would suggest an hour timeslot is reserved for each presentation and we require a minimum of 10 attendees.
Remember, our services are provided FREE OF CHARGE to employers of the West Midlands Pension Fund.
